Audience Member An Indian movie that's less than two hours long, with no dance numbers? The dated visual clarity grows on the viewer as Deshu works his way up the ranks to become the leader. Based on real life gangster Dawood Ibrahim, like Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. Hillarious in it's sameness to all the other Bollywood gangster movies I've seen. Gangster is hard and cold, falls in love, kills people haphazardly. The most hillarious thing was that they actually managed to fit 2 dancy singys in - when they absolutely didn't fit. This movie's only saving grace, for me, was that they would show about 5 mins of a conversation, and then show another 5 mins of the ppl gesticulating and facial expressing, but with no sound, which meant that you could look away and stop reading.
