Audience Member Fictionalized account of the U-234, which was tasked with bringing German technology and uranium to Japan at the end of WW II. Germany surrenders while the boat is at sea and there is a dispute about whether to go on or surrender. The acting and story are good, but the film suffers from a low budget. Still, it's on par or better than your standard WW II submarine movie. Trivia: An old Soviet-era Type 641 (Foxtrot class) submarine was used as a stand-in for the type XB U-boat.
