Allison Rose FlickDirect What starts off as your typical, mid-west, bank robbery turned standoff at the OK Corral, Day of Reckoning becomes something much deeper and thought provoking. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 28, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review Slim Great action and characters for a contained action-Western. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review Pedro A Not that bad, it's a little obvious what's happening through all the film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/11/25 Full Review BRizz 2 Day of Reckoning (2025) — This crime thriller just didn’t click for me. The best word I can use to describe it is bland. It wasn’t a complete snooze-fest, but it never found its spark, never gave that rush you expect from a thriller. The pacing was flat, the tension never quite built, and by the time the film reached moments that should have been intense, the energy just wasn’t there. Part of the problem might be that it was framed like a western. Westerns can absolutely be exciting, but they thrive on gunfights, standoffs, and dusty-road adventures—not slow-burning suspense. Here, that western backdrop worked against the thriller tone. It felt like the film was trying to be something it wasn’t, and the mix never fully gelled. The casting was fine, but nothing that really stood out. There were a few vaguely familiar faces, but most of the cast seemed to be newer names. They weren’t bad, but no one’s performance really grabbed me or made the movie pop. Overall, it’s not unwatchable, but it’s the kind of film you could have on in the background and not miss much if you looked away. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/10/25 Full Review Read all reviews
