Audience Member The film should be given a chance and a viewing. I'm a fan of vampire legend; I wanted something different; and this movie does not follow the typical "Hollywood Track". I went in with zero expectations, did not start or end like the typical vampire movie and was for that reason difficult to market and meet the expectations of people who expect either a "completely vampire horror" movie or a "completely romantic drama" movie. It doesn't do either 'extremely well' but does it well enough to enjoy and satisfy your curiosity about how it ends. I think Ellis did a respectable job and gave me something to think about. And the acting of the three leads was balanced. This movie doesn't pretend to be anything more than what it is; and it acts out the story with regular guys and gals- in a way that could happen to 'anyone'. So looking at it that way, it's a good, original movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member http://moviessuite92online.blogspot.com/2013/08/20130802a-horror-film-review.html Were there any characters that I cared about? No. Was there anything unexpected? Not really. Were there many 'of course' moments? Yes. Would I recommend this to anyone? I would recommend this one only to those who relish start to finish badness. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Really badly acted, edited and directed vampire move. Boy meets girl, she cheats, he get in a car crash, he's on deaths door, old boyfriend of girl changes him! God it's bad! And not in a good cool way!
