Lorraine Ali Los Angeles Times The spot-your-favorite-boy quotient here, and the fact that they all appear to be in on the joke, makes Dead 7 a blast to watch. Apr 1, 2016 Full Review Brian Lowry Variety Ultimately, the whole thing feels like little more than an excuse to queue up the song, "In the End," which Carter and company croon over the closing credits. Frankly, it's a payoff that can't come soon enough. Mar 31, 2016 Full Review Haleigh Foutch Collider The amusement over the boy bands vs zombies concept wears off about 10 minutes after the hypercolorized, bargain-bin Sin City style character introductions. Once the team is settled in, the film takes on an earnest tone and forgets to be in on the joke. Apr 1, 2016 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered Dead 7 is another SyFy attempt at wacky genre fun that's completely mucked up by The Asylum's ham-fisted, grimy, low-cost approach to filmmaking. Rated: 4/10 Mar 29, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member It's a fun movie, low budget but still good for a fan of the BSB Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Probably the WORST movie I have ever wached part of. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The main reason this movie failed was because it took itself far too seriously and it just made the film boring, I was expecting Z-Nation the movie with a main cast of old Boyband members ripping into each other but what we got was The Walking Dead with a B-Movie budget and Boyband members failing to act, The action was dull and poorly edited and the story was stupid, Predictable and dull, The zombies looked ok but that's all I can say was good in this film which is a shame as this could of been a fun, Brain dead movie but ended up being morbid and forgettable. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Amusing if only to spot your favorite former boy band member! One quote from the movie really kind of sums it up: "Let's go, we've got places to go & people to eat." Bless their little hearts they tried valiantly - but also failed spectacularly. This movie is just a hot mess! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member The editing destroyed any chance of this being decent. The acting wasn't bad. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member About what you would expect from a Zombie movie staring a bunch of boy bands. It was gory and action packed. I was a little more upset with the fact that they recycled the footage when they introduced the characters than I was with the sometimes bad acting.
