Dec 8 RT won’t allow me to post the words I prefer to describe this “movie!” See more Mar 28 it's one of the rare video game adaptations that's a lot of fun and pretty deep even a decade later that's a rarity these days for a zombie flick believe it or not Jesse Metcalfe is awesome as a TV reporter covering how the public feels about the outbreak and the quarantine, Meghan Ory is really good as a loner ignoring the reality of the situation while also holding a dark secret of her own, and Keegan Connor Tracy gets a fair amount of screentime as Metcalfe's camera woman unlocking the conspiracy of the outbreak Virginia Madsen is just there for a little while lost in a state of mind the zombies are pretty cool given that they have some slight intelligence left on how to attack humans and aren't just stumbling around once in a while they'll cut to Rob Riggle being interviewed about how he feels about the governments' involvement on the city's lockdown as well as the military's: there's a lot of points of interest clashing about chips being implanted in citizens, violating their civil rights, invasion of privacy, and complete control over all of our civil liberties the intentions to stop another outbreak are noble but at the expense of watching everyone constantly as I said before, too this movie has a lot of depth next to the gore and carnage making you feel for these people more than you should See more Sam B 08/07/2024 It's a good movie, my only issue is that they tries to make it scarier than the games are. And that they went down the wrong avenues to do it. They border on horror when they should be skirting the edge of panic from the main characters actioning so much they run out of ammo or bite of more than they can chew and end up in a locked building surrounded by zombies with a bomb that will blow off the wall they're hiding behind in 5 minutes!
