It's not the best of his exploitation action flicks, but it's still a fun one. I love the whole ex-cop/vigilant sub-genre though, so that may be why I had such a good time with it. They took his badge because he refused to follow police procedure and apparently still has trouble with the rules when he returns to town. Liked this one. Fast-paced with a good score and closing credits song. Certainly watchable with Wings Hauser and Lincoln Kilpatrick as the stereotypical police chief but nothing to separate itself from other cop-kicked-off-the-force films. See more 12/28/2011 After the fantastic Vice Squad Wings Hauser tries to follow up w/ Deadly Force & as an outcast cop turned pirate eye he's no where in the league of Ramrod. Although it tries on occasion to trend that seedy line far too often its by the numbers & is hampered by a lot of padding. Did he really need a love interest? No not really but the script writers seemed to think it needed to follow that formula..or maybe Wings just wanted to show his ass. I didn't need to see it. That must have been for the ladies. All in all it's not bad/ it's watchable but you're mostly just putting in your time.
