The witch story is pretty much trash. Red Riding Hood was ok, but not good. The saving grace in this film was Goldie-Lox, which is just plain zany af. I cracked up at how over the top it was.

"Thats not the way mommy tells it!" In this horror-comedy anthology the framing story is an uncle telling stories to a young boy who can't sleep (kind of like "Princess Bride"). The tales he tells are overly violent and sexual yet childish, cartoonish and goofy. In fact, the whole thing is very uneven, almost as if it were filmed at different times by different people. The middle story lampooning Little Red Riding Hood was my favourite, with the other two being just too strange. Not sure the target audience it wasn't very funny or very scary. The woman playing Goldi Locks was perfect for her roll!

Mildly funny. Uncle Mike is the worst uncle ever.

Yeah... it's pretty bad. I'd say stay away unless you have a deep nostalgic connection to it. It's better left in the past, as a fun memory. The only decent segment is the original story...

Some little jokes with these twisted fairy tales, but overall it isn't funny and not well done at all.

Just twisted and stupid enough to be entertaining. For hardcore 80's fans only.
