Grant Watson Fiction Machine It is crass, cheap, and a failed attempt at manipulating its audience, and in doing so the truth is crudely thrown under a bus in the name of easy thrills. Rated: 2/10 Oct 21, 2019 Full Review Naila Scargill Exquisite Terror Low budget, not particularly well acted and with a basic script, yet somehow, this film manages to elicit goosebumps. Audience Member Another interesting perspective of a story I never expected. Forsyth is fantastic here as the temperamental but cold and calculating serial killer. It's hard to believe such a story could happen. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/23/21 Full Review Audience Member FANTASTIC!! Best movie I've seen in a long time.... Really cool perspective Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Strong performances highlight this disturbing true story about a young man who decides to write a university paper on infamous serial killer John Wayne Gacy and how he becomes obsessed with his subject. It's shot with a strong sense of period, almost like a 90's TV crime drama. The script is very straightforward, almost wooden at times, and the direction is some what pedestrian. But the actors and their precise characterizations hooked me in and made me watch up until the end. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A very good and skill-full movie that has a dark side to most scenes and a very exciting story. I thought the performance by William Forsythe was very intimidating as by the way he carried out the Devil inside of John Wayne Gacy. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A straight to video crime drama whose intrigue is heavily undermined by a at times painfully bad central performance from Jesse Moss. The true life premise of the picture deserved better Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Dealing and dicing with death in what is a fine portrayal of trying to get inside a killers mind from the late Jason Moss' memoirs. William Forsythe is excellent as the serial killer Gacy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
