As somebody unfamiliar with Hamama's body of work, many of the references flew over my head but I didn't need to be well versed in the golden age of cinema to recognise that the film held up Hamama's stardom and movies as a benchmark of artistic output.

One of the best movies I've seen. Very intelligently done, brilliant script, flawless acting and beautifully shot. Has a depth that you will struggle to find in Hollywood productions. Sets the bar very high.

Loved the script, the idea... the editing was brilliant... cinematography and lighting were super! Amazing performance by Maged El Kedwany.. Needed another actress in the leading role, and the role of the mother, though! but the brilliance of each and every other element of the movie compensated for their moderate performance and i still loved the whole thing! Which means there was a brilliant master mind behind it all... Ahmed Abdalla, Chapeau (Y)
