Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Dull, junky straight to video fodder. May 31, 2019 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn Nothing about this movie makes sense. Rated: 1/5 Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn It's so bad it's not even entertaining. The only reason I didn't dread having to talk about this movie is the eavesdropping shark. Rated: 1/5 Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Gory shark tale has violence, profanity. Rated: 1/5 May 2, 2018 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered Deep Blue Sea 2 is a wet, coarse fin slap to the face of its far superior, and infinitely more fun original shark thriller. Chelsea M Yikes. Such high hopes because I love the first one but, oof, so bad. Big mistake to make no connection to the first, and the acting is so terrible that it's very distracting. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review ha B Good B list film. Nowhere near as good as the original but a good cringy monster film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/06/23 Full Review Andre G The movie was kind of boring till you get about half way through. Some questionable acting too. The only good thing about the movie is the shark babies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/01/23 Full Review Chris M The first movie was dumb but using sharks because they are so immune to cancer and other diseases, it kind of makes sense. But he has a really stupid reason to do it and never explains out of all the animal kingdom for his insane experiment, why sharks. The baby sharks are the biggest threat and feels more like a discount "Piranha" movie. But it has a dumb fun quality. In this case emphasis on DUMB in dumb fun. The CGI isn't great but I've seen worse. Overall, it's a good choice for a bad movie night that will be entertaining to riff. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/09/23 Full Review It's B-grade, and I have a lot to say about it, but even the smartest shark in the making could do a better job. 0/5 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/02/22 Full Review Liam D A mostly boring affair that cannot match up to the dumb fun thrills of the original Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/25/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
