Audience Member Desperate Souls tries to be a horror film but it doesn't even have wax to light the candle. The filmmakers use the common camera style of shaking the camera. This was supposed to make it scary-it doesn't work. It makes the film really annoying. The acting is horrific, which to say the least the only horrific thing in the film. The writing lacks in the continuity of the story telling. If I were to grade this film it would be an F. I, in fact, gave it a weak one star. It's not worthy to be called a film. P.S. This film has been known to claim that the actor Benjamin McKenzie (The O.C.) is in the film.
