Steve D No better than the original. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review Lloyd S Good movie for chilling, but not that good. Bruce Willis lost his touch and look the same in avery recent movie. Cynical, apathetic and a but lazy. Like a tree in the middle of the street. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Dallas H The movie is about a group of big-time bank robbers. Bruce Willis happens to be in a supporting role as a police detective. I think this movie is more of a mediocre B-movie playing multiple times a month on basic cable television. Not completely bad. But not great either. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/10/23 Full Review Insearch O Boring, violent rubbish. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review dave d The second of the "Detective Knight" trilogy is mind bogglingly bad, but it brought back a lot of memories about bad 80s action movies. Bruce Willis is barely in the film as this was his third from last appearance ever on screen. It's clear he is suffering from severe cognitive decline. He is hardly on screen and he looks confused most of the time. There is no pop. While I've heard the third film is the best, and it will be one of the last chances to see him on screen, I am not sure I can watch another. THIS IS NOT BRUCE WILLIS. It may be his body, but it's not him. I have no idea his financial situation, but reportedly he made one million per day for two days on set for this film. There is no way he knows what he is doing. Who was putting him out there. The story isn't atrocious, and the D list actors give it a firm effort, however this is a rough watch for anyone who gives a darn about Willis. Federico Furzan Movie-Blogger.com Detective Knight: Redemption is a good follow-up to the first entry but it's good as a standalone film as well. Rated: 3/5 Jan 18, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy The returning characters provide the requisite hooks. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 16, 2023 Full Review Michael Szymanski Mike Szymanski (Medium) This second in the trilogy is more violent than the first, and they they all seem to get progressively better. Rated: 8/10 Jan 16, 2023 Full Review Alejandro Turdo Hoy Sale Cine Leaving aside all the shooting, bombing and fighting, Detective Knight: Redemption is a story about channelizing your rage and put it to good use. About characters from both sides of the spectrum pushed over the limit but still not backing up an inch. Rated: 7/10 Jan 11, 2023 Full Review Evan Dossey Midwest Film Journal A suitably entertaining crime caper, as long as you know what to expect going in. Jan 7, 2023 Full Review Jason Delgado Film Threat Again, Willis is the action hero in Detective Knight: Redemption, which should be reason enough for his fans to see it.
