matthew b Amber is a young nurse, intent on getting home to her family after a long shift. Frankie is a dangerous psychopath on the run who will do anything to get out of the country and evade the authorities. When Frankie takes Amber hostage to aid his escape. this movie was boring and really overrated. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Awesome film! Danny Dyer is brilliant as ever! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Good British psychology thriller...Danny dyer does a great job of playing frankie a complete psycho who kills everyone who gets in his way whilst on the run after escaping the nuthouse...Danny dyers best film in years....highly recommend Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This is really baaaaad British movie and I hate it! Movie was so boring, no suspense or thrill and pointless. I like Danny Dyer, he tried to do great performance and he failed. His act was different, but too much. Frankie killed people without reason and I didn't like it. Anna Walton (Hellboy II) was OK but she looked boring too. I saw UK Blu-ray and DVD/Blu-ray never available in US. I think it can't show this in US, because it was really awful!!! I wasted my money and 90 minutes... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Up there with the worst films I've ever seen! Dialogue is definitely some of worst I've ever heard. Stay away from this one. Rather watch Jeremy Kyle! London Evening Standard No one could call this a notable film, though there is some good location work and a performance from a bearded Dyer that may be a bit over the top but still makes its mark. Rated: 2/5 Feb 24, 2012 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian Bizarrely and excruciatingly acted by Dyer a lot of the time, but actually this film isn't as bad as all that - there is some interesting and atmospheric location work as the pair travel through the bleak urban wilderness. Rated: 2/5 Feb 23, 2012 Full Review Ashley Clark Little White Lies Poor, but not totally without merit. Dyer's risible performance lingers for all the wrong reasons. Rated: 2/5 Feb 23, 2012 Full Review Andy Lea Daily Star (UK) In Buried, Ryan Reynolds spends the whole film underground in a coffin - child's play compared to what Anna Walton is put through here. She spends an entire night locked in a car with Danny Dyer - while he acts at her. Rated: 1/5 Jan 23, 2013 Full Review Mark Adams Daily Mirror (UK) Thoughtfully chilling and impressively performed, Deviation is a well-sustained thriller. Rated: 3/5 Feb 23, 2012 Full Review Alex Zane The Sun (UK) Should be an edge-of-the-seat thrill ride, but amounts to an unintentionally funny B movie, with Dyer mugging to camera and Walton simpering next to him.
