Rehmeier has created a punk rock Bonnie and Clyde, and the Patty/Simon relationship is a “nothing to lose by staying true” style of adventures, and nobody "adventures" better than an on-the-lam punk rocker and his music girlfriend. W/Emily/Kyle Podtalk.

The dynamics of an American family is portrayed in a cliche way, which I liked a lot, and the movie makes it hard to decide which people, are the sane ones. You start to say the F-word and just punk.

Starts off a little slow with what seems to be a mismatch in the pairing of the lead characters but that all sets up for the second half which becomes one of the most endearing stories with such a real representation of a relationship blooming.

It’s a really creative love story and I thought it was super funny in an awkward, real way. Their custom song was actually really good too, and I liked that at the end you found out that she wasn’t this dumb nerd that she was made out to be. She had a lot of depth and I liked that! Social awk ppl finding their place in movies and in romance - I’m all for it.
