Rehmeier has created a punk rock Bonnie and Clyde, and the Patty/Simon relationship is a “nothing to lose by staying true” style of adventures, and nobody "adventures" better than an on-the-lam punk rocker and his music girlfriend. W/Emily/Kyle Podtalk.

It’s rare to find a movie that feels this fresh. Dinner in America takes a completely different approach to the typical 'misfit' story, blending dark comedy with a romance that feels earned and authentic. What blew me away was how it makes you feel everything, one minute you’re laughing at the sheer absurdity, and the next, you’re genuinely moved by the connection between the two lead characters. The chemistry is electric, the soundtrack is amazing, and the aesthetic is effortlessly cool. It’s a wild ride that stays with you long after the credits roll. I’ve already lost count of how many times I want to rewatch it.

Within 10 minutes I was sucked in. Every scene had varying degrees of shock and awe value. Truly unique to itself. It’s full of surprises. Kyle Gallner is perfect. The rare movie I would watch again ASAP.

It was kind of like a punk rocker with a lot of problems has a relationship with a girl that has development problems. The first 20 minutes have some harsh things that happen to them, so hold onto your chair if that sort of thing upsets you. The 2 main actors Kyle Gallner and Emily Skeggs are excellent and draw you into the story. The writing is excellent with all of the supporting characters also doing fine work, which helped hold my interest in the story. And anyone that doesn't like this movie, I've got one thing to say to you. You need to take it down a notch.
