Rehmeier has created a punk rock Bonnie and Clyde, and the Patty/Simon relationship is a “nothing to lose by staying true” style of adventures, and nobody "adventures" better than an on-the-lam punk rocker and his music girlfriend. W/Emily/Kyle Podtalk.

It was kind of like a punk rocker with a lot of problems has a relationship with a girl that has development problems. The first 20 minutes have some harsh things that happen to them, so hold onto your chair if that sort of thing upsets you. The 2 main actors Kyle Gallner and Emily Skeggs are excellent and draw you into the story. The writing is excellent with all of the supporting characters also doing fine work, which helped hold my interest in the story. And anyone that doesn't like this movie, I've got one thing to say to you. You need to take it down a notch.

Watched this on a popular streaming app. This movie is truly dreadful. It is pointless, and quite an ugly story, with horrible and completely unlikeable characters. Any comparison with Napoleon Dynamite on the blurb is grossly misplaced. This is truly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The male character deserves to be arrested (which he finally is). He is a rude, unkempt drug addict. The female character can best be described as intellectually challenged, and isn’t on the spectrum, she’s completely off it. Avoid this movie at all costs, you will thank me.

The dynamics of an American family is portrayed in a cliche way, which I liked a lot, and the movie makes it hard to decide which people, are the sane ones. You start to say the F-word and just punk.

Starts off a little slow with what seems to be a mismatch in the pairing of the lead characters but that all sets up for the second half which becomes one of the most endearing stories with such a real representation of a relationship blooming.
