This is risible shot-on-the-cheap junk that can’t even thread together its plot strands in any fashionable, intriguing way. Go to Full Review

Audiences are in low-key hot mess territory with this disappointing mashup. With badly-lit hospital corridors, possessed elderly patients, and a nonsensical plot which would work better in The Twilight Zone, 'Disquiet' is best avoided. Go to Full Review
Alex Harrison Screen Rant 02/11/2023

Disquiet is structured like a puzzle film, with the viewer encouraged to piece together the mystery of Sam's limbo. This doesn't work in its favor. Go to Full Review
Julian Roman MovieWeb 02/09/2023

Disquiet loses its grip as the plot progresses. Several well-placed first-act scares succeed in getting your adrenaline pumping. The fear factor then wanes considerably with an odd mix of flashback scenes and strange character interactions. Go to Full Review
Casey Chong Casey's Movie Mania 02/08/2023

Disquiet does have the potential of becoming a cult classic of a B-horror movie. That is if only [Michael] Winnick doesn’t end up with underwritten characters that tend to have awkward, yet unintentionally laughable dialogues and by-the-numbers scares. Go to Full Review

Monica S Apr 23 Wish i could give this 0 stars. I guessed the entire plot within 30 seconds and *prayed* it wasn't so obvious. I was hoping the big twist at the end was anything other than what i predicted. I had never heard of this movie, and saw JRM was starring. I thought it would at least be watchable. How did he get roped into this mess? The movie starts off with JRM getting into a car wreck, and two first responders get to the car -- a very obvious angel v devil conversation/scenario occurs. He wakes in the hospital and sees a gross old man in a nearby bed, presumably in a coma. My very first thought is "JRM is the old coma guy." Every time he looks away from anyone, they disappear. This is very clearly a coma dream. The script is pathetic. It's like it was written by a middle school child who just read Dante. The "bad lady's" name is Lilith ffs. Trying to be cerebral but failing badly. The special effects were just embarrassing. Old coma guy's bald cap was glaringly obvious, the scars on the girls were comical, and just the sheer number of times they reused footage was sad. JRM had to have lost a pretty bad bet. I love movies like this even better than the big blockbuster. We need more movies like this and less superhero crap. See more J B Mar 15 Situated around a time where most of us try not to comprehend or think about, between life, Death and the stages that are unknown.…this movie evolves around the generic Heaven and Hell scenario without actually saying it….as the movie unfolds and simulating reality and time vs.’s mid-stage death , this mind warping psychological thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat as your worst fears try to trigger reality….it doesn’t stop there,,, the Gradian Angel steps in, and the one you might be more attracted to tries to persuade your direction…your heart might skip a beat or two, between choices or fate…the more your body and brain wants the more you follow the path to where it feels right….the ending will shed tears to your eyes and is definitely worth putting down your phone and cuddling up with your favorite partner over,,,this electrifying, exquisitely written movie will force you to rethink your exact existence, the writer and director should have multiple awards for bringing this into action….sit back and enjoy the movie and Love..😁 See more HMF B Feb 11 Maybe the idea was good to start with. But all the rest is bad, including effort. I hated it. See more Sean S Jan 16 This film suffers dreadfully from a low budget. It's has a solid premise yet can't stick the landing because of its cheap, cheesy visuals and dialect. See more Daniel W Jan 15 The movie is not a good showing. Supporting characters manage to outshine the main character at every turn. The main character, who is a macho man archetype albeit with zero charisma, still tries to overreach in every scene to squeeze breathless “hunkdom” from a dry sponge. It’s the kind of constipated performance you see from Sharknado with none of the charm or humor. Footage (I think in several instances) is completely reused shot-for-shot. There is also weird use of strangely-grained slow motion, cheap lighting effects and poor framing that takes you out of the action giving some scenes an unintended comedic effect - like watching a tape your weird cousin filmed in film class. Every plot twist can be seen 20 miles away. You’ll guess where it’s going. You won’t have the risk of being surprised unless you are that henchmen that Austin Powers runs over with the steam-roller. It also is as ham-fisted as one can imagine relating to racial injustice as it pertains to the police and trying to send whatever message it is sending. It does try to initially give a strange smutty vibe that good B horror does so well and makes B horror an American institution. But this is just inconsistent, because at some points you’ll wonder if you are watching a Hallmark movie instead. It’s a strange juxtaposition. I’d definitely mark this under C horror. I am sure Riff Trax and MST3K might even refuse to touch it - the riffs just come out of your own mouth like they are summoned from some unconscious dimension where stupid things happen to people you feel nothing for. Watch this only if you have no respect for your time. Also, don’t overthink the ending. See more Read all reviews
