Aside from its clichéd resolution, Disturbia is a tense, subtle thriller with a noteworthy performance from Shia LaBeouf.

Matt M Nostalgia and good vibes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Devin B Starts out slow but then the tension builds more and more!Solid lead performance from Shia LaBeouf! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review mosaab b underrated ! , the old early 2000s movies that we wont get to see in a long time from now Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/03/24 Full Review Yash B "Disturbia" definitely feels like a thriller made in 2007 in more ways than one. In that regard, it can feel like a trip down memory lane in a lot of ways. I feel like the movie has enough tension and intrigue to make it worthwhile. I do feel the payoff of the movie is pretty lackluster and the reveals were not that exciting to me, but I had enough fun while watching it. I have always considered Shia LaBeouf a solid actor and even when the script gets iffy, I think his performance is pretty good here. Overall, it is a decent thriller and while it doesn't revolutionize the genre, I enjoyed enough of it to say it was fine to watch once. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Niall S What starts as a fairly interesting premise quickly deteriorates into a poor man's PG-13 hitchhiker remake, albeit without the real chills, violence or thrills. You could have fallen asleep for the last 45 mins, woken up and still have guessed the ending. 2.5/5 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Richard L Although it's light and breezy, nothing much happens in this stilted and clichéd teen flick. When it finally does - it isn't carried with any gravitas, like the cinematic equivalent of a Goosebumps episode. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
