No jumps and screams for Adults BUT a mature 8 year old up to tweens would love it. The story is in their lane. Scary stuff happening without a lot of gore, lots of shadowy dark scenes and of course rats. That's why I gave it a 4. Not something I'd recommend an Adult watch but a perfect scary movie for older kids. The idea of them jumping off a train and entering an area where they aren’t supposed to be created a setup that felt like it could become something exciting. Unfortunately, the movie takes you there at first only to seemingly dive off a cliff. It felt like the story was constantly collapsing, and I kept questioning what was happening and why it continued to lose momentum when there was so much potential. Instead of developing into something bigger, it stayed stuck in a struggle. At the end of the day, Do Not Enter just never went down the road I wanted it to. It never really jumped into anything beyond the initial setup, and that was disappointing. I can’t recommend it, although it may resonate with someone else. Nice nod to the roller coaster in the sea. Yes, I would recommend. Insidious it it not but good cast and certainly worth 4 stars. See more Matt J @Mattie_Nyte Sep 4, 2026 I love horror… even bad horror movies. This one was strange because it is one of the few times that I genuinely didn’t like a horror movie. The plot and writing was so bad. I genuinely had to rewind several times because I thought I zoned out and missed something. I did not. It was just that poorly written. Don’t even get me started on the Laffy Taffy Smurf “monster”…. I will disagree with some of the reviews saying the acting was bad. I actually think the actors did a great job with what they were given. Overall - I feel bored, disappointed, and confused. Sadly, I cannot recommend. See more Read all reviews
