Ben Beaumont-Thomas Guardian The editing, of enjoyably intimate footage from backstage, on stage, under stagedives and back in the tour bus, keeps the tempo as high as their hits. Rated: 3/5 Jul 3, 2021 Full Review Andrew Murray The Upcoming As a music documentary, Don't Go Gentle isn't essential viewing. But for fans of the band that it's all about, the flick makes for an interesting (but all too short) companion to their stellar discography. Rated: 3/5 Aug 4, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Jim D Like all documentary movies about bands, you are always left wanting more or feeling unsatisfied in some manner. The story here is inspiring and certainly if you are a fan of the band, it is somewhat fulfilling and gratifying. It is always hard to pin down what is missing. Is it catharsis or maybe some kind of awakening that we are seeking but missing? In the end, this movie will satisfy an Idles fan because they know what the band is about and what they stand for. I think the casual person will only get and feel half of the story at most. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
