Anton Bitel Sight & Sound Even if the game-playing manipulation of 'Mr Lee' seems familiar from many other films, it is presented with real craft - and the moral commentary on the disconnect between online activity and real-world repercussion is very much of the now. Feb 16, 2017 Full Review Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com The killer seems to have a master switch to every single electronic device in the hapless pranksters' house. It's tough to take the film seriously when the unknown assailant has CIA powers of surveillance. Rated: D- Feb 13, 2017 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times A formulaic story of teenagers behaving badly and getting what's coming to them. Feb 9, 2017 Full Review Jeremy Aspinall Radio Times There are familiar shades of Scream and Phone Booth in the feature debut of co-directors Alexis Wajsbrot and Damien Mace, but they also bring roving-camera flair and energy to the claustrophobic tension. Rated: 3/5 Feb 9, 2024 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts It's not a bad teenage-type drama-horror. Rated: 5/10 Apr 28, 2021 Full Review Kellie Haulotte 1428 Elm Don't Hang Up is a total B-movie and the characters are barely likable. What I will say is that its pacing and suspense was there for me. Michael P This movie was absolutely a tourture watch. I don't see hoe the 33 rating is here. It had all the movie sins. Like this movie, don't hang it up, it needs a tumble dry. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/01/24 Full Review Deborah M This movie was so much better than I thought it would be! Kept my attention! Wish I would have seen it at the theater when it came out! Definitely worth watching!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Demonic S Absolutely awful. Doesn't even deserve 33%. Irritating tone throughout the first half, completely unoriginal, poor story, poor direction, overall bad execution of a completely tired plot and idiotic premise. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/24 Full Review Aubrey M Definitely a hidden gem. Glad i came across this movie. Very interesting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/21/24 Full Review Jaidyn R this was better than scream and the babadook Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/24 Full Review Terri Lynn Not bad for a streaming movie considering most of them are low budget and poor acting. Don't Hang Up didn't have any jump scares. While the movie had some rolling eye moments, there were some good twists. The suspense of wondering who was behind the murderous prank kept me watching Don't Hang Up until the end. I admit, it shocked me but made so much sense. The movie sent me on a whirl wind of emotions, from frustration to huffing, Rollin eyes, to oh my God. From sympathy to thinking they deserved it. I would recommend Don't give up to anyone who enjoys the horror feels but instead of the scared, jumping, squealing in fear feels, it's more of a suspense feel. I believe it's worth watching if you're in a slump. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review Read all reviews
