The only thing that made me keep watching this boring train wreck of a movie was the nostalgia it brought me. It felt like a Sunday afternoon when I was a child watching movies with my mom. It definitely had a vintage feel to it. The story itself was lacking, the execution was slow and sleepy.

Once upon a time it was the grubby fingered vulgarians in Hollywood that reliably vomited up anti-Catholic crap, but it seems the Irish have now taken over. Writer/Director Michael Tully proves himself a poor Colm Tóibín wannabe with this pathetic potshot against the Virgin Mary. Achingly slow, exceedingly dull and filled with obvious ripoffs of much better movies (Hereditary made miniature dioramas terrifying, here they are simply silly) Don't Leave Home should have been called Don't Even Bother.

I don’t even know where to begin with this. This is truly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t make sense and the acting is AWFUL. This contains about the worst acting I’ve ever seen. It’s not scary at all, and I can’t tell you what even happened. The movie poster is very misleading, and whoever was in charge with the music score needs a lot of work. The music is very amateurish and obnoxious
