Audience Member This movie had a interesting premise that could had work well. That is the only reason,I said two stars. However, for me and I sure a lot of others, the weird ending completely ruined the whole thing.Really? What the heck was that all about?Probably ,would be better off doing something else.No wonder Drew Barrymore wanted to forget it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member cosa tan mala, se suponía que era un tipo disfrazado de ella que habla con la misma voz... y al final, la vieja se vuelve monstruo. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a great movie, but an enjoyably weird movie. Naive young screenwriter George Newbern rents half of his apartment to Ms. Barrymore, who slowly reveals that she (probably) has a magical evil twin. And maybe her brother does too. And maybe the evil twins murder people ... or maybe Drew and her brother are just crazy. Maybe George has wild sex with Drew, or maybe it was her magical twin. Why does Drew's shower water turn to blood? Who cares, because boobs. Just when everything seems sewn up by Dennis Christopher as Drew's psychiatrist ... the movie runs gloriously off the rails with a batshit crazy ending that makes no sense. I recommend it ... but it's not very good. I warned you. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad B grade horror. Terrible film but still entertaining. Hilarious to see the bad effects. drew very early career. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Holly Gooding (Drew Barrymore) arrives in Los Angeles hoping to escape her nightmare. She is being stalked by a creature that looks and talks just like her - a creature that brutally stabbed her mother to death. But this creature is not her. It is her doppelganger - her evil alter ego - whose only emotion is hate and whose only desire is to destroy her. Then she meets the man of her dreams, but has he fallen in love with Holly or her doppelganger? also stars George Newbern, Dennis Christopher, Peter Dobson, Leslie Hope, Sally Kellerman, George Maharis, Dan Shor and Sean Whalen. directed by Avi Nesher. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member this was certainly a departure from the later avi neshers. alas, the movie didn't manage to make the leap from trashy to trashy fun plus the 'special effects' really sucked. enjoyed watching the feisty 'elizabeth' more than ms barrymore's character, though drew barrymore did look somewhat hot here.
