Katie Hogan She Likes Movies Sometimes it can be grating for these delusional characters to never learn a lesson, but June’s charm out-weighs this character flaw and just becomes an easy comedic watch. Nov 13, 2024 Full Review Dillon Gonzales InSession Film Drugstore June is a somewhat frustrating experience. For as passingly enjoyable as the film is, it should be so much better considering the talent at its disposal. Rated: B- Sep 30, 2024 Full Review Jesse Hassenger Decider Povitsky and director/cowriter Nicholaus Goossen have such clarity about who June is that their movie takes on a kind of purity, even as it zigzags from cultural satire to insult comedy to townie noir. Rated: B+ Mar 27, 2024 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Drugstore June is very much a comedy that hits on the mark of being a film you either find funny or you don’t... I can say I did find the film frequently pretty funny, thanks to the lead performance by Povitsky and the heavy lineup of comedians of today. Rated: 6/10 Mar 7, 2024 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media And while the movie has some laughs, it's more an exercise in frustration, because the story isn't well-constructed. Feb 27, 2024 Full Review Erik Childress Movie Madness Podcast It takes too long to realize the movie may not entirely be down with June’s brand of millennial outrage and slackness and by then her behavior is registered more with annoyance than satire leaving its better scenes for comedy’s heavier hitters. Claire Loved all the people in it. Very fun movie! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Patrick Funny, interesting and entertaining. For a low budget movie, they did a really great job. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/24 Full Review Kelley S Immediately confused by Junes age . I can see this character as a teenager . Or very early twenty something. I thought the actors who played Junes parents were not a good fit . Her brother was perfect . Big fan of Bobby Lee . Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Joana A I normally enjoy watching these coming of age stories but i couldnr get past the first 10 minutes. The main character June seemed fun and worthwhile but the dinner scene with the brother...I couldn't. It sounds like an old person wrote the script without even researching kids today. I might try again later but I think the rest of it will sound like this so I don't think it's worth the time for anyone to watch this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review Hambone H We need a Bobby Lee movie and maybe ester can be an extra or something Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Michael S Had high hopes but was a let down…had to turn off. Boring & hard to watch . One good thing was music selection for the film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
