Skinner (Hooper Atchley) and his gang are rustling the local ranchers' cattle and nobody but Ken Cartwright (Ken Maynard) is brave enough to stand up to them. He decides to go after Skinner when the bandits try to steal some of Eileen Carey's (Dorothy Dix) herd, and ends up walking into a trap. But local officials see right through Skinner's attempt to frame Ken and set him free. Ken takes on the outlaws with help from his brother, Earl (Kermit Maynard), and some local Boy Scouts.
