Mike F 08/13/2023 I view this as American Pie with females, although this one gets into some stuff that is not so funny including a possible rape. Fun cast and a lot of good laughs this is a great watch. See more 11/27/2021 It was really bad, there was no real plot just a bunch of random things happening at once. And the end was so disappointing. Actually the worst movie I have seen. Hope you have a great day and do not waste your time on this movie;) See more 05/30/2021 While this movie was choc full of the usual sex, parties, drugs, and such that forms the meat of most teen-oriented flex, two deeper currents stood out for me as most significant: 1. Lily's deep-seated control issues vis a vis her other girlfriends. Everything had to be her way or the highway, and she could be extremely catty and bitchy if that were challenged. 2. And even more obvious: Lily was scared s**tless as the end of high school approached and her little posse started to dissolve and each girl was contemplating their own lives direction. For many life seems to be over after high school, and some try to hold onto that with an iron grip. It reminded me about my own senior year memories and fear of seeing that end and drop away. (BTW, I graduated HS in 1962.) But as the frighteningly unfamiliar becomes more familiar and comfortable, one gradually segues into the new routine until, upon revisiting the ol' stompin' grounds, you realize you've actually grown and moved on. It brings up issues that it clearly can't handle. It comes out on 4/20 and is marketed as a stoner movie, but the whole movie's about grief, loss, and SEXUAL ASSAULT! Yah, major issues representing consent. One love interest (Dude 1) keeps plowing through rejections and does the whole "surprise kiss bs,' then still hooks up with the lead. At least the sex scene with Dude 1 emphasizes consent. But then, the same character is straight up raped. She's high, says she doesn't want to have sex, he (Dude 2) rapes her, she tells him to stop, and he keeps going. It was traumatic to watch, and the rapist is just kneed in the balls, like that in any way matches to what he did. All the drinking, drugs, and sex just seem like the characters are broken, miserable, and trying to escape their unhappiness. So, yeah. Not a weed movie. See more Read all reviews
