Audience Member it waS an aWes0me m0vie!! ^_^ Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Pour qui aime les films Bollywood, voici une tentative de moderniser le genre parfaitement rejouissante. Plein de choses interessantes dedans, notamment de voir que le placement produit a gagne Bollywood: les chansons du film sont toutes sponsorisees, et l'histoire se deroule a Trinidad, bien connue pour sa grande communaute indienne! Le tout semble assez ridicule quand on regarde ca avec un oeil d'occidental (l'acteur jouant le role de Donsai est un des plus mauvais qu'il m'ait ete donne de voir), mais comme souvent dans ce cinema, il y a un charme, une energie, une joie de vivre qui transparait a l'ecran et enleve le tout. Il faut etre patient et attendre le dernier tiers du film pour voir apparaitre dans l'histoire la vedette Shah Rukh Khan, ce qui donne d'ailleurs droit a une replique assez savoureuse. SRK has an "extended cameo" in this one - wish he'd been the lead. He's always so enjoyable to watch - and in this one he was such a ham. Loved his song and the visual references to some of his earlier films (Devdas, Baazigar, Darr, etc.). Too cute. The rest of the cast I could take or leave and the other songs were pretty forgettable. Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Sushmita Sen needs acting lessons. She has never delivered a solid performance during her entire career. Like usual, her acting was extremely unrealistic. Fardeen Khan, though, was great for this part. The new actress was pretty good too. But what this movie really proved, or further proved, was the immense talent of Shah Rukh Khan. Even with the smallest parts, he can deliver a best-actor type performance. He was great in this movie, as usual. He knows exactly how much to put into each scene and does everything perfectly. He basically carried the movie with his small part. The music was downright awful, except for the one SRK song. Direction was pretty good. Overall, a sold movie except for Sushmita Sen.
