Fashion designer Lynn Matthews (Melissa Gilbert) suffers from nightmares about a woman falling to her death. After she undergoes past-life regression, her psychiatrist hypothesizes that, in a previous incarnation, Lynn may have been the victim of foul play. Desperate to make the dreams stop, she travels from New York to San Francisco, where the murder took place, to try and solve the crime and bring the killer to justice. Along the way, she gets help from a police inspector (Scott Plank).
