j f Never heard a more annoying repeated pronunciation of “hot dog” Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Joe W I suspect most would give this movie 1 or 2 stars, but, I love early John Garfield movies. This one is just ok. He is in fine form in this movie, but, it’s not a very exciting story. It did the trick on a rainy afternoon with no plans and some coffee. One side note: The supporting cast playing John’s adoptive family collectively have the worst, over the top Italian accents ever. If you like this era, try Dust Be My Destiny, They Made Me a Criminal, or, Out of the Fog. Much better movies imo. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Read all reviews
