And what a compelling case for why EVERYONE should be allowed to legally wed the person that they love. Thank you, Edie and Thea! See more 08/31/2014 a sweet, simple and personal story. it was surprising and enlightening to see how normal edie & thea's relationship was. they had ups and downs like any other couple and the film didn't try to romanticize or sensationalize their romance too much. the filmic style was a bit simple for my taste (talking heads and photos) and i wish it had broadened its scope just a bit, or perhaps found an angle or issue to highlight within their lives, rather than just giving a chronological account.
