      Artorius B A film that truely transports the spirit of dostojevsky, Gorky and Alexandrowich - the russian soul. The movie, even though it is a eastern gangster-drama, respects the russian way of storrytelling well, and that is why many Hollywood-spoiled viewers can't understand the pure poetry in that kind of story: 2 men, grown up in extreme poverty and crime, without any chance to get away from their misery - everyone of the two has nothing left but their own integrity, but the extrems they face, make them go in 2 diffrent directions. The one accepts his place in the criminal clan he was born into, the other abandons his criminal clan, but also loses his integrity and moral compass... Sadly, even though John Malkovic was a part of the cast, the movie was overseen. A shame.
