Mike W It was so bad that I watched the whole thing! Some people say it is one of the worst movies ever made, and I agree. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheesy but entertaining. I recomend watching the regular version first before watching the MST3K treatment. A proper budget would have made a great difference in the final outcome of the film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the finest achievements in film making in the last 100 years! Richard Kiel turns in the performance of a lifetime as the title character, a modern day Goliath living in Southern California. If you must watch this film, watch it with Joel Robinson and the bots. Enjoy Roxy's and Eegah's shaving scene. Crow: "That's not a tongue, it's a muskie leech!" Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I never thought I'd say it, but "Encino Man" did it better. A group of teenagers come across a caveman and drama ensues. Richard Kiel, best known as the James Bond villain Jaws, plays the titular 7'2" caveman, Eegah. Kiel goes on a rampage smashing cars and chasing teenagers. As you might expect from a film titled "Eegah," it's not a very good movie. Filmed in Bronson Canyon, where other notable turkey "Robot Monster" was filmed, "Eegah" is an indefensibly bad film, but I will say I was quite entertained on a so-bad-it's-good level of entertainment, particularly anytime Kiel got to rampage or was distracted by shiny object from his female captives. It also didn't help the quality of the film when nearly all of the dialogue had to be dubbed because sound engineer on the film failed to record most of the original dialogue. Overall, only watch this turkey if you're in the mood for some Ed Wood levels of bad cinema entertainment. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review joe m Saw the MST3K riff on EEGAH and even they couldn't save this stinker. Pass on watching it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing!!! It was one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in a long time. Why you might ask because, it makes no sense. Why is a caveman living in the desert? Why do ancient caveman skeletons still have flesh on them? How has this caveman family been going on without any outside contact (when there's clearly a swim-drink club super close to them)? There's no reason but, it's amazing. If your a B-Movie fan then deffinetly watch this. The only thing that really bugged me is how most of the scenes were unesacery, but hey so was the movie itself!
