Grimm R I didn't expect much from this movie but I ended up having fun and getting some great suspense out of it and some great storytelling as well. The explanations for why things were happening were different and I loved the hypothesis that was explained in the story. There were things like the dialogue, some cheap moments, and I felt the lack of setting as almost all the scenes take place in this apartment, was a downside but there is an amazing monologue from Kai Lennox and it's definitely a movie I can see being a cult classic so with all that being said, this movie gets a B-. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review sean s Ever since The Blair Witch Project, the horror genre' has been inundated with low budget, wobbly, hand-held cam movies. This started off as one of them... The acting wasn't bad, and it picked up in the last 20 minutes very well. The dad put on a good show when he unwound completely. The photography, at times, was well done, outside of the high ceiling shots and shaky, screechy scenes. They should get at least 3 1/2 stars for effort. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw the trailer for this movie in ITunes and finally I got to saw it , it was a really good movie it has good horror and some very disturbing scenes and the best part of it is that it was rated R. The story of them is creepy and at the same time is sad. I think they did a great job in this movie and it did not disappoint me at all. So of this people don't appreciate found footage films because they don't get what they are expecting, that being said this films are creepy and are well made and this film is great example, so for this being one great film, I give " Apartment 143 " a B-. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie that relies too heavily on creepy noises, Apartment 143 fails to deliver any real frights within its relatively unimaginative plot. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member This very low budget film is completely ridiculous, very slow paced and boring. Also, the plot was very unconvincing due to the disappointing acting portrayed by the male lead. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member It is a good movie, a little boring in the beginning, but overall not a bad movie.
