A lazy late-summer weekend is disrupted by a shocking allegation when Delphine gets an anonymous call from her husband's colleague about an alleged affair with one of their adopted children. The film was very good but very disturbing because of its subject matter. The real issue for me and why it didn't stick the landing is because it largely offers no insight as to why these people did what they did or enough insight into the psyche of its characters.

This is an instant cult film, despite an extremely difficult subject matter to deal with. While filmmaker giving audience early clues, audience are invited to witness the events slowly unfold and lives unraveled from Delphine's perspective. Thrilling & unsettling, this film is sure to grab your full attention.
