Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill), and opens her own agency -- only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn't as easy as it seems. Resigned to accepting the cold realities of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: to find her missing sister. But this case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world -- from London's sinister factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. Henry Cavill’s Sherlock is used more effectively, serving as guidance rather than overshadowing Enola, which keeps the spotlight firmly where it belongs. Their sibling dynamic is engaging and well-written. The supporting cast, including Helena Bonham Carter, adds warmth and personality, and the themes of women’s empowerment and independence are handled with confidence. Overall, this sequel feels purposeful, entertaining, and surprisingly meaningful, making it a strong continuation of the franchise and an easy recommendation.

One of those rare movies you watch while keeping an eye on the time - wondering when the hell will it end. Kind of similar to when someone shows you a video on their phone that they claim is brilliant and you spend the whole time wishing you had telekenisis abilities so you could make it end with your mind. Want to be independent of her brother - runs to him for every little thing. A very clever detective - walks the streets of London at night without protection and marches into a crime scene without protection and touches a stab wound with her bare hands So much potential - if only Netflix had hired actul decent writers and directors. I'm sure twelve year olds will like it.
