The setup is commonplace, but the scenery is delicious, the dialogue refreshingly tart and the keen supporting cast frisky or affecting, as the occasion demands. Go to Full Review

"Everybody Loves Somebody" doesn't reinvent the rom-com, but it manages to take the formula, shake it up a bit, and come up with something that feels fresh and inventive. Go to Full Review

Mastretta gets considerable mileage out of her bilingual concept, but it's never forced, and we enjoy being in both of Clara's worlds. Go to Full Review

[It] is not a revolutionary film by any stretch, nor is it likely to draw anyone who isn't already interested in the romance genre, but it has a charm and wit of its own that places it a head above much of the competition. Go to Full Review

Munkhchimeg T 07/20/2024 POV was the same issue for the adults in real life. Good to watch See more Tim D 05/14/2024 Loved this movie- engaging plot, great cast and acting- and the multi lingual script heightens the engagement- and authenticity. Karla Souza does a wonderful job- in and out of spanish and "american" fluidly, (evidently fluent in both- and French!)- and has a natural way and energy about her that really pulls you in. The acting through out is seamless by all- never drops you out of the rhythm of the movie. Recommend to all. See more 11/10/2018 It was such a cute film! I loved it! See more 08/05/2018 No del todo mal pero ya visto con diferentes caracteres y culturas. Carla se merece mejores guiones. See more 01/14/2018 It would have been better had they chose to talk in one language throughout the film. See more 10/31/2017 This chicks got low af standards. Great for spanish slang, not the best for feels. 4/5 See more Read all reviews
