SkyRo P Recently, I decided to watch a 1988 film titled "The Fairy King of AR." The movie featured some incredibly awful CGI, which made me question if CGI even existed back then. It seemed more like an attempt at animation that didn't quite hit the mark, especially with the fairy and goblin characters. The goblins looked like people wearing face masks that would squish in when touched, revealing the poor construction of the characters. One of the major disappointments of the film was the confusing plot development. The writing was all over the place, making it hard to understand what was happening. The overall vibe of the movie, along with the actors' performances, also detracted from the viewing experience. Instead of being able to enjoy the film, I found myself questioning what I was watching and how to get through it. The ending of the film was particularly poorly executed, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and disconnected from the story. While it may have had some appeal in its time, it's not something I would choose to revisit. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews
