      Audience Consensus

A great cast and some moderately heartwarming moments aren't enough to make up for Family Switch's unimaginative take on the overused body-swap gimmick.

Pesadilla Me pareció muy buena 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review gryphon f I actually hate this movie, it's like if dhar wasn't just pretty bad it's if he was HORRIBLE AND JUST THE WORST FILMAKER EVER! This movie needs to be removed from this planet, the fact that a horrible movie like this has anything over a 5% genuinely shocking, I can't believe I actually wasted over an hour of my life watching this movie, absolute worst movie ever. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Evelyn C It was really good but one scene made me really uncomfortable, with the kids in their parents bodies kissing and then the parents in the kids bodies flirting at the party. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review DJ E Not good at all. Please save yourself and don't watch this. If you watched it already.....I'm sorry Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review donald l I thought it was a cute Christmas movie. I think the switch thing and the living the same day over and over again movies are getting to be a little too much where I don't even watch movies like that anymore, but I thought this one was good. Nell Minow RogerEbert.com “Family Switch” is a Dad Joke of a movie, genially corny but enjoying its corniness so much that it invites us to enjoy it, too. Rated: 3/4 Dec 6, 2023 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Variety “Family Switch” has bits and pieces of amusement, but mostly you want to swap it for a better movie. Dec 2, 2023 Full Review Angie Han Hollywood Reporter It’s simply hard to feel all that deeply for characters so flat and sweet they might as well be gingerbread people, resolving problems that barely seemed to exist in the first place. Nov 30, 2023 Full Review Shawn Edwards Fox 4 Kansas City The very familiar premise of body swapping is written until the wheels fall off. Is it a fun trip... sure. Does it go anywhere... no. Rated: 2/5 Dec 27, 2023 Full Review Rachel Wagner Hallmarkies Podcast One of the worst films of 2023 Dec 25, 2023 Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com A very entertaining, if predictable jaunt...a ball of fun, with the best scenes involving the swap between the family’s baby and its pet pooch.
