Since Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian's (Paul Walker) heist in Rio left them and their crew very rich people, they've scattered across the globe; however, they must still live as fugitives, unable to return home to their families. Meanwhile, Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) has been tracking a gang of lethally skilled mercenary drivers whose second-in-command is someone Dom knows. Unable to take them down himself, Hobbs asks Dom and his crew for help in exchange for full pardons for everyone.

And while director Justin Lin's eye for the flamboyant makes the film less credible, it's never not fun to watch even as you shake your head at the absolutely bogus action scenes. Go to Full Review

Nobody goes to these movies for dialogue. And maybe that's true - but that doesn't mean they have to be written like a bunch of third graders playing "movie" in the school yard. Go to Full Review

These Fast and Furious movies are different, they've actually improved upon the mistakes of their predecessors. Go to Full Review

Even if the series, in essence, glorifies criminals and dangerous driving, its faces reflect America's shifting demographics and offer a worldview and attitude towards race that few movies match using subtlety over overt placating. Go to Full Review

This is easily my favorite script and story so far in the franchise. Go to Full Review

These films are clearly designed first and foremost to be fun, and that has never been more true than with the sixth entry. That’s largely because the film is a globe-trotting adventure that features some of the best stunts of the franchise. Go to Full Review

Vixo S @vixo_six 1d The franchise no longer asks me to suspend disbelief. It asks me to remove it completely. The characters survive impossible collisions, leap between moving vehicles and treat tanks and aircraft as ordinary obstacles for people whose original qualification was knowing how to race. The emotional story attempts to create weight through lost memories and relationships, but it is difficult to care when every serious moment exists beside action governed by no recognizable physical rules. Dom has fully become a superhero who can walk away from explosions, crashes and falls without any meaningful consequence. That invincibility removes tension because the film has already taught me that nothing can truly hurt its central characters. I could once laugh at the exaggeration, but here the absurdity begins to overwhelm whatever entertainment it might have provided. It feels less like an action film than a live action cartoon that somehow expects its emotional drama to remain completely sincere. See more Grace E @GraceReviews26 3d One of the most entertaining entries in the series. It balances exciting action, fast-paced car chases, and the strong bond between the team. The chemistry among the cast keeps the movie engaging, while the stunts are bigger and more creative than ever. Although some scenes are unrealistic, they fit the fun, over-the-top style the franchise is known for. The mix of humor, emotion, and adrenaline makes it an enjoyable watch from start to finish. If you like action movies with memorable characters and spectacular set pieces, this is definitely worth watching. See more Andrew T @RT72355796 Jul 21 This movie is so overrated. It’s not terrible. I would watch it if it was on cable and I was bored enough, but I would not intentionally rewatch it. Owen Shaw is just such a MID villain. The story is just meh and a lot of it makes no sense for obvious reasons. It is really just a filler episode between Fast 5 and Fast 7. There is really no reason to have this movie and it is kind of just there. Just meh. 5/10 See more Chris S @Janomi Jun 17 Fast & Furious 6 finds the franchise operating at peak confidence. By this point, the series knows exactly what it is, balancing action, humor, and family dynamics with remarkable ease. Justin Lin keeps the pace moving while giving nearly every member of the growing ensemble something meaningful to do. Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson continue to play off each other well, creating several of the film's most entertaining moments. Paul Walker remains a strong emotional anchor, while Luke Evans delivers a capable, if somewhat forgettable, antagonist. The action is bigger than ever, yet the movie rarely loses its sense of fun. The biggest issue is that the villain's motivations aren't especially compelling, and the infamous runway sequence stretches credibility far beyond its limits. Even so, the cast chemistry and confident execution make Fast & Furious 6 one of the franchise's most consistently entertaining entries. See more Josphat I @RT20563539 May 21 After fast 5 I do probably say this was the next wonderfully crafted movie of the fast and furious franchise to date. It has all that we know and value about the fast and furious movies; action and high speed chasing cars. The return of Lettie was one of my best moments in this movie. And the way they have those funny comment in between. You just can't get bored. See more Jaycen D. @JDtheGoat Apr 4 I’d probably say Fast 5 was better, but just by a little bit. Luke Evans is incredible in here as the sort of new addition for this movie. Nice seeing Letty back as well. And as always, Vin Diesel & Paul Walker are amazing on screen. See more Read all reviews
