Audience Member Terrible acting even worse plot. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I know that when I watch a movie on Lifetime, it's probably not going to be anything that I'll remember tomorrow, but I am mad at myself for wasting an hour and 7 minutes of my life watching this. I was too tired to find my remote control to shut it off. Now I've spent another three minutes writing about this movie, but only in the hopes that I might convince someone else not to waste their time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Horribly cheesy!! Don't waste your time!! If I could give a lower rating I would. Absolutely terrible. Sorry to all the actors, but wow. Slipping on the moss ruined the whole movie among other things. This actor went up against a marine while training self defense and was a big bad tough guy, then slips on a little moss???? What the heck??? I can't say anymore, I already wasted 2 hours of my life on this horrible film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member I've never seen a Lifetime Chanel film before, but I've heard them mocked as poorly made thrillers typical featuring women in peril. That pretty much sums "Fatal Defense." I'd set a series recording on my DVR to record anything that Sherilyn Fenn is in and this made-for-cable film showed up, so I gave it a watch. Fenn wasn't the main character. That would be a pretty blond haired single mom, Ashley Scott ("Into the Blue" and "Jericho"), who signs up for a self defense class and is charmed by the handsome instructor. But guess what? He's a psycho and goal all Fatal Attraction on her. Fenn has a supporting role as a police detective trying to help Scott. Ridiculous dialogue, poorly constructed suspense, laughable action sequences, and general incredulity abound. One star for Fenn and Scott, who are better than this dreck. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheesy, but not bad otherwise. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Predictable thriller about a weak female turned "strong". I mean, who really melts down screaming and whining "help me" when locked in a shack instead of running to the door to see if the door is actually locked? That part of the script is straight from "dumb blonde" movies. Don't make the fatal mistake of watching it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
