I'm sorry that this film didn't have what the general public likes...dumb shootouts, stupid car chases, pointless romance or "good guys" beating "bad guys" in the stupidest of ways. This film was awesome...just watch it...those with good taste will agree!

No build up to any emotion between father and kids. Through most of the movie, he feels nothing for them and then the end comes close and suddenly he's father of the year. This one is as bad as the critics say.

Father Hood is a disappointing film. It is about a deadbeat dad kidnaps his kids from the bus. Patrick Swayze and Hallie Berry give terrible performances. The script is badly written. Darrell Roodt did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

In my short 16 years of life, I have seen some terrible films but this takes the cake. Granted Swayze TRIED to do his best with the part given, the movie couldn't be saved. Crazy if non-existent plot, terrible pacing, and rather hateful to be marketed as a family film, Father Hood is best left forgotten.
