Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Occasionally pleasurable, but not entirely memorable. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 14, 2015 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Much like the rusty jalopy in which the characters make their journey, Finding Fanny delivers a very bumpy ride. Apr 14, 2015 Full Review Rachel Saltz New York Times Dimple Kapadia's prosthetic butt is emblematic of Homi Adajania's botched comedy, "Finding Fanny." Sep 11, 2014 Full Review Manjusha Radhakrishnan Gulf News (UAE) Some of the jokes and sharp dialogues were lost in translation and that's a tragedy. But don't let that dissuade you from watching Finding Fanny. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 1, 2017 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters The performances are superb and everyone plays their parts well. Jun 6, 2017 Full Review Sweta Kaushal Hindustan Times More than anything else, this film has managed to package human emotions and philosophies in way seldom seen happening in Bollywood. Audience Member I am keeping this review short and precise because technically it's not my blog- 'Finding Fanny' is a dynamic romantic comedy which never loses steam so you can easily dispose ita frequent lack of charm in the second hour. It coasts along breezily with the feel-good, rhapsodic charm all around and you just can't ask for more in an already irresistible feature that's for a heart and more than that. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member An endearing film which made me laugh out loud at the quirkiness of the comedy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member They just gave up caring after the first half hour. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A good assembly of actors and unique backdrop. The sweet story had a lot more potential and seemed to shy away in keeping things ridiculously simple and earthy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Apparently, same backdrop as Little Miss Sunshine. But Finding Fanny is still a beautiful road-movie (made in India) perfectly ensemble cast and peacefully shot. It's a half-baked turkey, its certainly missing something "fanny" ! Not too bad as it was told it was. Worth a shot! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Finding fanny is a fresh and unexpected production from Bollywood. Quirky at its core with moments of mature comedy. Surprisingly the old generation of actors kept it fresher than the two young casts. Shah, Kapadia, and Kapur were remarkable. Padukone and Kapoor could have done a better job at keeping the humor tight. The story lacked consistency but overall I tentatively tip my hat off for the effort.
