Tim S Love this movie, I hope it comes out on 4K bluray too. I already purchased the digital version, but it is so good I want it on disc too. The writing and acting are both superb. Rocking movie, TY. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Travis K excellent movie .worth the watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review J Ricco C Definitely worth watching. It's not going to win Best Picture... yeah, the script has a few flaws and parts of it are kinda predictable, but it comes together enough to be entertaining. And of course, Tommy Lee Jones is superb... but the rest of the cast was also solid, especially young Jenna Ortega. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Tom E I knew nothing about fishing. However, somehow they made it really relatable. The story was fantastic. Tommy Lee Jones is perfect in this movie. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Watch it. What are you waiting for? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review William R Contraband, part II,who snicth?,no wonder scallops are so $$$ expensive Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Greg R The writing is god awful and that really is a shame. Nell Minow RogerEbert.com Foster is at his best in roles like this one, where his emotions are tightly coiled and always close to exploding, but the storyline does not give him much to work with and Wallace cannot make much out of a blandly-conceived role. Rated: 2/4 Dec 15, 2023 Full Review Robert Daniels indieWire A messy ball of nonsensical threads and worse performances Rated: C- Sep 14, 2023 Full Review Jordan Hoffman The Messenger A boatload of clichés. Rated: 5.2/10 Sep 11, 2023 Full Review Christopher Lloyd The Film Yap A powerhouse cast and crew anchor this gritty, unglamorous look at a fractious family of fishermen trolling increasingly threatening waters in this feature on Paramount+ and digital. Rated: 4/5 Mar 25, 2024 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media Today's audiences require more truth than most did in the 1980s, when lunkheaded heroes could make poor decisions, and we'd still cheer them on. Jan 10, 2024 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Much like a boat suffering from rocky weather, Finestkind may have been well-intentioned in telling a crime story based around a specific profession, but it careens back and forth between tones and the kind of movie it wants to be.
