Foster is at his best in roles like this one, where his emotions are tightly coiled and always close to exploding, but the storyline does not give him much to work with and Wallace cannot make much out of a blandly-conceived role.

Wow. This script would have been (constructively) laughed out of film class. TLJ is in it, that's the only reason it gets 1.5 stars. My goodness, just so thrown together.

Not sure why some so called critics did not like this movie when so many terrible movies have been quickly thrown together since 2020! This movie has nice connections and wow you never see the twists and turns coming and there are quite a few of them! Yes Ben Foster could have been a bit stronger like he was in Hell or High Water but he still was pretty good. Toby Wallace has grown into quite the good actor and was strong throughout. Tommy Lee Jones at 77 yrs old also delivered. This is a worthy watch!

Don't know why this movie has such low ratings. My husband and I loved it. The plot was something different...not the same old same old! It had heart, and the acting was very good. It might have been a little disjointed in parts, but overall very well done. I'd easily recommend it to friends. And besides, how can you go wrong when Tommy Lee Jones is in a movie?

Family, loyalty, this is a perfect movie to watch on a Thanksgiving afternoon. Ben Foster for me is one of the best actors, first time I saw him was in alpha dog what a underrated actor.
