Firebreak is one of those movies that seems to be going in one direction, but then twists your attention in another. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The film raises relevant themes—grief, collective paranoia, the construction of the "other" as a threat—but consumes them in a succession of shocks that prevent reflection from taking root. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

With a new twist coming seemingly every 10 to 15 minutes, this film ratchets up the tension. Go to Full Review

An efficient little thriller that won't set your world alight, but provides a few sparks. Go to Full Review

The fire is menacing, but it feels so contrived from the very first scene that it fails to generate enough panic. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Marie M @Mariehadalillamb 2d Terrible movie…the characters are insanely stupid to the point that it frustrates you. I can go on and on about how mundane and incredibly unsatisfying this movie was but I would run out of characters. I would not recommend unless you want your blood pressure to raise and have high cholesterol. See more Sam A @Padlock 3d Excellent film! The reason why I dropped half a star is because the police should have at least taken Santi in for questioning. Felt the film was flawed on this respect. However I loved the originality of a wildfire. Had me screaming at the characters in frustration throughout and was a tense thriller. See more Marco L @decatur555 5d Firebreak is a tight, very watchable psychological thriller that uses the wildfire as more than background chaos. What really drives it is guilt — the kind that sticks to you, rewrites memories, and makes fear feel like fact. The movie moves fast, doesn’t over-explain, and keeps the tension steadily squeezing rather than relying on flashy twists. Belén Cuesta anchors everything with a restrained performance that still shows the damage underneath, which makes the emotional side hit harder when the story turns more intense. Visually, the pressure of the fire works like a ticking clock and a mental trap at the same time. It’s entertaining, but it leaves an unsettling aftertaste. See more Carlos T @RT67858720 6d Existem filmes que contam uma história. Nota final: **9 See more Om S @HansB Mar 4 Initially, the story seems ordinary until the friendly neighbour becomes inexplicably suspicious. The suspense builds as the unpredictable neighbour reveals the truth while the mother and her brother-in-law’s desperation heighten the emotional stakes. The director’s and cinematographer’s work complements the actors’ creative performances. See more Nitesh R @Ranjan.nick Mar 3 I didn’t get the movie at all, a complete waste of time, I dont know why the characters are doing what they are doing, behaving over the top all the time, seemed like all of them lacked common sense, you don’t feel attached to any character, I was laughing on some of the actions. Watch at your own risk👎🏼 See more Read all reviews
