Patrick M I'm not sure what this movie is trying to be. It's almost like a soft core xxx video that never finishes. Among the worst Christmas movies I've attempted to watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review Rob You probably have to love Hallmark-type Christmas movies to love this one but it was very cute. This one is worth watching mostly because of Amanda Kloots. I knew her more as an author and TV host of The Talk, but she can really act. Of course she was playing a fitness instructor (which she also is in real life) so it wasn't much of a stretch, but she was believable and really lit up the screen. I enjoyed it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/22 Full Review ar r Well made, a bit too cute but Kloots is very likable as a rom com lead. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review heather r Amanda Kloots was amazing! Great strong natural acting. We are so glad Elvis made a cameo. You rock Amanda! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Sarah Michelle I think Amanda over acted and was way too over the top enthusiastic in all scenes. It was so much that I couldn't finish the movie after 30 minutes. I will say I adore her on her IG page but this just felt fake and weird. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/12/22 Full Review Birch S Think "You've Got Mail" set in a small town instead of NYC. Meg Ryan's role, a bookstore owner, swapped with that of a fitness instructor who fights to save the town's beloved art center from being re-developed into - not a big box superstore - but a ski resort. Multiple scenes have been taken over almost word for word (along with the music) and some of Amanda Kloots' expressions match those of Meg Ryan's. An example of inspiration taken too far. Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media But even for a Christmas movie, in which hate-first-love-later is the go-to formula, the romantic leads seem deliriously incompatible. Rated: 2/5 Dec 14, 2022 Full Review Brett White Decider The names have been changed, the professions have been swapped around, and one snow-covered town has been traded for another, but this is still every single holiday romance movie that you’ve ever watched — and that’s the whole point.
