      Reviews After getting into a minor traffic accident, Pablo (Luis Tosar) attempts to make light of the situation by asking the driver of the other car, Sonsoles (Mar Regueras), out on a date.       Audience Member Es curioso lo que pasa al ver la adaptación de una novela que has leido. Puede pasar que la adaptación sea muy buena, y salgas satisfecho del cine, o que la adaptación sea mala y salgas enfadado. Desgraciadamente, La Flaqueza del Bolchevique es del segundo grupo. Y eso que el autor de la estupenda novela, Lorenzo Silva, fue coguionista junto al director, Manuel Martín Cuenca. La Flaqueza del Bolchevique es de esas novelas, que si se llevan al cine, deben seguirse a pies juntillas, porque no tiene acción (en el sentido de persecuciones, explosiones, etc..), sino que es una historia de personajes, de sus emociones y sentimientos. Y para conseguir una buena película de ahí, no hacía falta cambiar nada. Pero lo cambiaron, y acabaron destrozando la novela (y como recompensa, les nominan al Goya al Mejor Guión Adaptado, cuando otra novela de Silva, El Alquimista Impaciente, no, y sí lo merecía). Ni siquiera explican el porqué del título, cuál es la flaqueza del bolchevique, del personaje de Luis Tosar. Lo mejor de la película, y realmente de lo poco que salvable, son las excelentes interpretaciones de Luis Tosar y María Valverde (¿quién no flaquería ante ella, como el bolchevique encargado de ejecutar a la Gran Duquesa Olga?).
