Flatliners, putting aside any knowledge of the original 1990's movie, started with an ambiguous philosophy that is rather interesting, but failed to deliver and keep this ambiguity with poor decisions in the narrative or understanding of the concepts it tried to unfold through the movie.

This review may contain spoilers. Não duvido nem um pouco que todos os estudantes de medicina queiram morrer. O filme é okayzinho, o que salva é o lindo do ✨Elliot Page✨ onde tudo que toca vira ouro. A história é meio furreca, os motivos são furreca, os personagens são furreca, tudo extremamente furreca. A personagem da Nina Dobrev tinha mais é que morrer mesmo, mas gostei da frase dita pelo ✨Elliot Page✨ no final dizendo que ela deve se perdoar, muito bonito. Os efeitos especiais são bonitinhos e gosto como cada um teve um experiência depois de morrer. Mas se eles estavam sendo assombrados por suas respectivas culpas, então todas as pessoas que reviveram deveriam estar também. No fim das contas, Courtney (ou ✨Elliot Page✨) estava apenas sendo egoísta querendo ver novamente sua irmã, e viu ‘ne mona, parabéns. A história não prende nem um pouco e acho que poderia ter sido trabalhado melhor a ferramenta principal do filme: vida após a morte. Porra, tanta coisa legal e optaram por fazer filmezinho de terror indie 👍👍👍👍

Flatliners – Heute ist ein schöner Tag zum Sterben ist ein Science-Fiction-Thriller von Joel Schumacher (Regie), das Drehbuch schrieb Peter Filardi. Der Film versucht dramatisch und tiefgründig zu sein, wer auf einen Horror-Film des klassischen Sinnes hofft wird enttäuscht werden, wer aber auf Mysterien-Thriller steht wird ihn mögen… . Die Geschichte des Filmes will, das Mysterium Nahtod-Erfahrung in Verbindung mit Schuld und Sühne darstellen, dabei schwankt es hin und her zwischen Metaphysik, Medizin und Psychologie.
