Peter Aspden Financial Times Flesh is strikingly redolent of its time: morally vacant, stylish, lightweight, daring, but also dreary. It represents everything people both love and hate about the 1960s. Oct 7, 2018 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times It's at least interesting. It isn't very good, though; if it hadn't come from New York under Warhol's sponsorship, we'd never have seen it. Audience Member Quite an interesting topic, bit taboo but married man runs tricks predominantly for men to help pay the way for his new wife. Sex life with his wife is a bit exhausted by his ventures. Best scene is with a creepy sculptor old dude. Would have been a decent film if it wasn't so boring . Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member The first in the Warhol/Morrissey trilogy, Flesh is an avant-garde film typical of the Warhol effort featuring Warhol superstar Joe Dallesandro, the plot was about a hustler's mundane day, like the protagonist, I fell asleep. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Another Paul Morrissey film. I could rate these types of films forever cause the memory is so sweet! Loved it. ð??? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member ***Due to the recent RT changes that have basically ruined my past reviews, I am mostly only giving a rating rather than a full review.*** Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member An from head to tail obsession about Joe Dallesandro. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member This had some incredible things to say about the oversexualization of the human body, both male and female, and the effect on the objectified because of that. Unfortunately, the production value was so dreadfully bad it dragged the whole thing down. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
