Li S This blends mystery, sci-fi and psychological drama in a way that feels unusual and quite different. it has a strong sense of mood and direction. The performances by the young and older actors feel genuine and the cinematography / original music gives it a distinctive style. It is great that a film doesn't put all the pieces together for you, you have to draw some of your own conclusions. It is clear that power is what everyone wants. But what they pulled off was pretty extraordinary given the circumstances of filming in Berlin during this time. It's a great and ambitious debut by Li, and hats off to her for making something that's very much worth watching and enjoying during a comfy evening on the sofa. Give it a watch.
