Bobby LePire Film Threat Flinch uses lighting to great effect. Strong contrasting colors clash from one room to the next in the apartment used as a prison. The direction keeps the tension high as the two leads realize what they truly desire. Rated: 7.5/10 Dec 20, 2023 Full Review Alejandro Turdo Hoy Sale Cine Initially, Flinch may appear to be another run of the mil hitman movie, but it proves its worth thanks to solid characters and a vibrant storytelling that is not afraid of getting bloody and messy to prove its point. Rated: 8/10 Dec 1, 2023 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Flinch lulls the viewer into its story with strong visuals and a great soundtrack from the very start, bringing the audience in and grabbing them for the rest of the ride. Rated: 4.5/5 Nov 2, 2023 Full Review Ronak Kotecha ronakkotecha.wordpress.com Misleading information, confusing identities, changing loyalties and exchanged gun-fire, all feature effectively in this film. There’s even a fair share of suspense in a well-paced narrative. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 24, 2023 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Yes, this is a formula thriller... But Van Hoy finds a few wrinkles, and a pretty good cast twists those into something that's just different enough to take you aback Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 6, 2021 Full Review Prairie Miller WBAI Radio Let's just say Flinch, though showcasing the conventional crime thriller, is owned by the women this time around. A more offbeat window into women saving themselves, while shaking up the seemingly forever set in stone macho mob genre Feb 1, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
