Joe Leydon Variety First-time director Nate Taylor skillfully evokes a clammy sense of dread in this stealthily suspenseful indie thriller. Oct 10, 2013 Full Review David DeWitt New York Times The frequent use of direct-address narration feels too much like a fiction writer's device, however much it wants to be a hook. Rated: 4/5 Oct 10, 2013 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Just exactly how much of yourself you're willing to invest in Forgetting the Girl may depend upon how quickly you manage to pick up the story's twists. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 8, 2020 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Surprising, clever and twisted with a convincingly sweet and creepy performance by Christopher Denham. Rated: 8.0/10 Oct 11, 2013 Full Review Mike D'Angelo The Dissolve Forgetting The Girl...has nothing to offer apart from misdirection. It merely transforms from one kind of lousy movie into another kind of lousy movie. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 10, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Hated all the characters except poor Jamie . I feel badly for how she’s treated . 2.0 Kevin has no redeeming qualities and was not even fun to root against either . Only reason it isn’t lower is because the acting wasn’t terrible .... everything else pretty much was Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/11/20 Full Review patrick w Very well acted film. Story is of a young photographer in New York City trying to forget the women he's photographed and that have touched his life. His assistant is hopelessly in love with him but he's blind to it. Shocking twist to the story towards the end. Lots of good dialogue, not much action but pretty decent nonetheless. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A great indie thriller with a beautiful dark tone that leaves you on the edge of your seat until the end. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member An intriguing but overall rather flat film. Not one I would wish to see again although it was watchable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member For a directorial debut, this is an impressive film. The actors all shine. Christopher Denham prevents this film from becoming too predictable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Nate Taylor Achieved a very interesting thriller.
